To be held on October 28 through 30, 2016, at the Libertyville Sports Complex in Libertyville, Illinois, the Edgeball Chicago International Table Tennis Open is one of the biggest table tennis events in the U.S.
Packed with international stars such as Jorgen Persson of Sweden, a former world champion, Chen Weixing (World #55), Lucjan Blaszczyk of Poland and Thiago Monteiro of Brazil, the Edgeball Open brings world class table tennis action to the US.
This weekend of table tennis festival begins with a Friday night warm-up, a fun-filled event with music , games, entertainment and a chance to meet, play and take photos with the international athletes. The semi-finals and finals will also include performances magician Brent Allan and the Glenview Cheerleaders. It is hosted by comedian Brett Walkow.
