For the second year in a row, TPC Sugarloaf in Duluth, Georgia, will play host to the Matt Ryan Celebrity-Am Classic. The event will take place April 14, 2014.

The Classic will be the kick-off event to the Greater Gwinnett Championship Presented by Mitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating, an Official Event on the PGA TOUR’s Champions Tour. This year, the Classic will open to the public for free spectator admission, giving Atlanta fans a great opportunity to see many of their sports heroes up close and personal. Held at TPC Sugarloaf on Monday, April 14th, the event raises money for the Aflac Cancer Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta as well as the Matt Ryan Foundation.

The host is Matt Ryan himself, the Falcons’ All-Pro quarterback who was their first round draft choice in 2008 and is their team record holder in nearly every single season and career passing category. He will be joined by numerous Falcon teammates as well as other current and retired Atlanta sports legends. Scheduled to appear are Warrick Dunn and Chipper Jones.

It will be an incredible opportunity for participating golfers to meet many of their favorite local athletes while testing their golf skills on one of the country’s most challenging and perfectly manicured golf courses. And they will be doing it “inside the ropes” under the exact same conditions that the pros will be playing under just a few days later. The entire day will be an experience every golfer and every golf fan will long remember. If you would wish to play in this event which is almost sold out, contact Dave Winokur at Dave.Winokur@choa.org. Spectator admission is free and parking will be at Gwinnett Center.
