Columbia County to Host Bicycle Event

On Saturday, November 2, Columbia County, Georgia, presents the 2013 SORBA-CSRA Fall Bike Fest. The event will be held at the Deer Run picnic area at the Lake Springs Recreation Area.

Activities will include recreational rides, skill demonstrations and clinics, just-for-fun contests and more. There will be food and campfires in a family-friendly atmosphere.

Demonstration activities will run 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Specific activities throughout the day are as follows:

1pm – Rides of varying lengths will leave from the Deer Run picnic area – opportunity for rides varying from 3 miles to 38 miles in length, something for everyone.

3pm – Bike Games - wheel toss, bike toss, limbo, bunny hop, tire blow, etc

5pm - Cookout – Brats, hot dogs, hamburgers, sides and drinks

7pm – Night Ride – Lights are available.

Note: As with all SORBA-CSRA events, all riders must wear a helmet.
