Sprowls Horizon Sports Park, Tampa Bay’s newest premier youth sports destination, has announced a partnership with Triple Crown Fastpitch, a division of Triple Crown Sports and one of the nation’s leading organizers of elite fastpitch softball tournaments. The specific Triple Crown events and dates at Sprowls Horizon Sprowls Park will be announced at a later time.

Sprowls Horizon Sports Park is located at 4015 62nd Ave. N, Pinellas Park, FL 33781. The grand opening of the venue is slated for February 2026.

Located near Gulf Coast beaches and two international airports, the venue will also feature batting cages, a community plaza and playground, curated ballpark menus, and modern spectator amenities. The fields will honor spring training traditions of iconic franchises, including the Philadelphia Phillies, New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, St. Louis Cardinals, Atlanta Braves, and Pittsburgh Pirates.

The collaboration will bring nationally recognized softball tournaments to the state-of-the-art Sprowls Horizon Sports Park beginning in Spring 2026, when the venue is slated to open. The partnership aims to elevate the youth softball experience in Florida by hosting high-caliber tournaments that attract top-tier talent, college scouts, and passionate fans from across the country.

“Triple Crown Sports is extremely excited to be able to have the new Sprowls Horizon Sports Complex as an amazing addition to our events,” said Katrina Magaro, Triple Crown Sports Fastpitch Event Director. “It’s going to be a top-notch complex with top-tier amenities and an athlete-focused environment. Sprowls Horizon will make an ideal host for teams and families from across the country.”

The tournaments at Sprowls Horizon will be played on six Major League Spring Training-inspired diamonds, modeled after iconic ballparks throughout the state of Florida.

“Sprowls Horizon Sports Park is proud to partner with Triple Crown Fastpitch, an organization that has consistently delivered exceptional experiences for athletes, coaches, and families,” said Joe DeRing, VP Venue Management, Sports Facilities Companies. “Having personally seen the quality and professionalism of their events, I know firsthand the positive impact that Triple Crown brings to the fastpitch community, and we are excited to build on that legacy together.”
