Nov 20, 2019

Registration is now open for RunSignup’s inaugural Winter Symposium for race directors, timers, and nonprofits, taking place in Orlando, FL on January 13 & 14, 2020. RunSignup has hosted an annual Summer Symposium since 2014 and is adding the Winter version to accommodate increasing demand. Early Bird registration (deadline November 11) is just $150 and includes two full days of education and networking activities.

The RunSignup Symposium is designed for a variety of industry professionals, including:

Timers interested in using technology and business strategies to differentiate themselves in the market

Race Directors hoping to create memorable race day experiences and grow their events

Nonprofits looking for technology to help them raise more while saving time and money

Vendors seeking to connect with industry professionals in a personal, interactive setting.

For the first time at a RunSignup Symposium, RunSignup is offering limited partnerships to quality vendors with whom they share customers. Rather than providing an expo area, partners will have opportunities to showcase their products at interactive stations at social events and in a hands-on demo room.

Attendees will have options in three intersecting tracks focusing on RunSignup tools for race directors, the RaceDay technology suite for timers, and GiveSignup for nonprofits, with sessions led by both RunSignup employees and outside industry experts. Additionally, Tuesday will provide another chance for timers to be Certified in RaceDay Scoring software and the RaceJoy Tracking App, as well as a new Advanced Certification for timer who have already been certified.

To encourage industry professionals to seek out as much education as possible during the offseason, RunSignup is offering a 20% discount for race directors and timers who are also attending the February Running USA Conference.

In addition to education, the RunSignup Symposium provides opportunities for industry professionals to network and share best practices. Social events will include a Marketplace Dinner, happy hour, and a morning run – all on-site at the beautiful Orlando Airport Marriott Lakeside. Amenities at the resort-style hotel include a 24/7 Fitness center, whirlpool, jogging trail, on-site restaurant, bar, and café, and indoor and outdoor swimming pools with a kids pool. Rooms are now available to reserve in the room block at the Host Hotel. For more information or to register, visit: www.RunSignup.com/WinterSymposium.
