Executive Director , George Linley emphasized, "The Palm Beach County Sports Commission is privileged to partner with Men’s Senior Baseball League to host their Fall Classic at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium and FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches.  The MSBL Fall Classic is one of the largest amateur baseball tournaments for adults that takes place annually in the United States.   We are proud that MSBL selected Palm Beach County as their home for the next three years, which demonstrates The Palm Beaches’ position as Florida’s premier baseball destination."

The FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches, located in West Palm Beach, and Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium, located in Jupiter, will come together to offer two marquee baseball stadiums and over 20 total diamonds to host the MSBL Fall Classic. They will accommodate 125 teams, consisting of 2,000 athletes from across the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, and Peru.   The tournament features seven (7) adult age groups (18+, 30+, 35+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+). Over 400 baseball games will be played during the 13-day stretch.  Teams compete in a round robin format, which is followed by play-offs, to determine MSBL champions.

Brady Ballard, General Manager, stated "FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches is excited to welcome MSBL back to Palm Beach and to our complex for the first time.  This will be a great two weeks of adult baseball and economic impact to the community."

The event has taken place on the west coast of Florida for a total of 24 out of the last 29 years.  After an 18-year stint on the West Coast of Florida, MSBL moved its Fall Classic to the East Coast for the first time in 2009.  Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium and First Data Field in Port St. Lucie joined to host the event for five (5) years.  After relocating to the west coast in 2014, Palm Beach County will once again play host in 2018.

In addition to home runs and great catches, this event will bring tremendous economic benefits to The Palm Beaches. The influx of visitors is expected to generate nearly $4 million in economic impact while filling approximately 5,000 hotel room nights.

“Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium is thrilled to host the MSBL Fall Classic once again.  This was a “feather in our cap” event for many years.  We are happy that the tournament is returning home to Palm Beach County” said Mike Bauer, General Manager.
