Orlando North to Host Perfect Game Action

Orlando North, Seminole County Sports Tourism and Perfect Game, INC are pleased to announce the agreement of a multi-year deal to host four (4) national level events during the summer of 2019 and 2020. The 9U-12U Super25 National Championship/16U PG World Series Qualifier will take place on June 20-24, 2019 and June 18-22, 2020.

The 13U/15U Super National Championship will take place on July 5-9, 2019 and July 3-7, 2020. The 14U Super25 National Championship/13U PG World Series will take place July 12-16, 2019 and July 10-14, 2020. Lastly, the 14U-16U PG World Series will be hosted July 18-25, 2019 and July 16-23, 2020. All events will compete at the BOOMBAH Sports Complex located in Sanford, Florida.

The 100-acre BOOMBAH Sports Complex has 15 baseball fields; nine fully-synthetic turf fields and six natural grass fields. The complex also has a total of 25 batting cages, three concession facilities and parking for more than 900 vehicles. The state-of-the-art facility, which opened in May of 2016, has the ability to host not only baseball and softball events, but also football, lacrosse, field hockey and numerous other sports. Since opening, the BOOMBAH Sports Complex has hosted more than 150 events, generating 53 million dollars in economic impact and more than 35,000 hotel room nights for Seminole County.

Each of these 4 events will host 60+ teams from throughout the United States for a five-day competition, generating an estimated 1,500+ hotel room nights and roughly 1 million dollars in economic impact. Collectively, the four tournaments will generate an estimated 6,500 room nights and 4 million dollars in economic impact to Seminole County each year of the agreement.
