55th Annual Event to Run July 13-18

Nearly 900 athletes from 26 states will be competing at the Ocean Center July 13 - 18 when the U.S. Twirling Association presents the U.S. National Baton Twirling Championships. Twirlers will compete for national championships in individual and group events. Included in this event is the Festival of the Future for beginner and intermediate athletes, giving these up-and-coming champions the opportunity to experience nationwide competition.

“We are excited to return to one of the world’s most famous beaches,” said John Chamberlain, USTA President, who is a Florida resident. “Our athletes and their families love being able to go from the competition arena to the beach in a matter of minutes. They also enjoy the area’s hospitality, history and family-friendly attractions and amenities.”

The Ocean Center sales team booked this event in 2009 and also hosted the event in 2003 and 2008.
