Matches to be Streamed; Tourbeau Sports to Provide Video of Eight Games Live from IMG Academy

On Saturday, January 25 and Sunday, January 26, IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, will host scrimmages from the 2014 USL PRO Combine presented by Nike.

USL PRO is pleased to announce an agreement with the Tourbeau Sports Group that will see eight of those scrimmages streamed live from the world-class facilities of IMG Academy.

The agreement continues the relationship between USL and Tourbeau Sports, which in the past year has also provided live coverage of the 2013 W-League and W-20 Championships, and the 2013 Super-20 League Championships.

Eight of the nine scrimmages will be streamed live from the new IMG Stadium Field and Field 1 at the outstanding complex in Bradenton, Fla. via USL PRO’s YouTube channel. Games will also be available on demand following the end of each broadcast, giving fans across the country the chance to see the top prospects that might soon be part of their club’s plans for the 2014 USL PRO season.

“We are delighted to have Tourbeau Sports join us for the USL PRO Combine,” USL National Technical Director Peter Mellor said. “Not only will their coverage of the event provide a chance for players’ former clubs and coaches to see them compete as they try to move into the professional ranks, but it will also provide our clubs the opportunity to revisit players following the conclusion of the combine as they look to add quality players for the upcoming season.”

The eighth edition of the USL PRO Combine presented by Nike is set to kick off on Thursday, January 23 at IMG Academy. More details on Combine coaches and team rosters will be made available soon.
