Gymnastics: Daytona Beach to Host 2014 World Age Group Competition

USA Gymnastics has named the athletes who will represent the United States at the 2014 World Age Group Competition, scheduled for Nov. 13-16 at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Fla.

The U.S. squad for the 2014 World Trampoline and Tumbling Championships, held just prior to the World Age Group Competitions from Nov. 7-9, will be announced in the near future.

The U.S. Team for the World Age Group Competitions features 59 athletes from 20 states.  This year’s squad includes seven athletes who brought home a total of 11 medals, highlighted by Alyssa Oh of Rocklin, Calif./Technique T&T, who won the 11-12 girls double mini-trampoline gold and the silver for both trampoline and synchronized trampoline; and Cody Gesuelli of Middletown, N.J./Elite Trampoline Academy, who claimed the 15-16 boys synchro silver and trampoline bronze medals.
