DE Turf to Host All-American National Lacrosse Classic

Dec 20, 2017

DE Turf Sports Complex is pleased to announce it will host the All-American National Lacrosse Classic in 2018, 2019 and 2020. Celebrating its 11th year, the 2018 National Lacrosse Classic and National Lacrosse Academy bring together the “best in class” youth and high school players to Delaware July 16-19 in an event offering elite lacrosse competition, exposure to the next level of the sport and an Olympic-style lacrosse experience for everyone.

The All-American National Lacrosse Classic features the most diverse group of premier players selected based on their skills demonstrated at regional qualifiers conducted throughout the United States and Canada. As a gateway to the NCAA, thousands of National Lacrosse Classic alumni have gone on to excel at the collegiate level.

“We are thrilled to host the National Lacrosse Classic at DE TURF”, said Chris Giacomucci, executive director at DE TURF. “This weeklong showcase event is very unique and will provide an incredible economic impact to central Delaware. Our facility provided the amenities and convenient location that the organizers were looking for. We look forward to hosting this event for the next three years.”

New Hampshire based global event management company, Legacy Global Sports, owns and operates the event which was previously held in Richmond, Virginia.
