The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee today announced details regarding the 2020 Team USA Media Summit, which will be held March 15-18 at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown hotel. More than 115 of Team USA’s top hopefuls for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 are expected to participate in the four-day media event.

The Team USA Media Summit provides print, broadcast, online and photo journalists with access to America’s top athletes from all sports, all in one place, leading up to the Tokyo Games. Members of the media will be able to conduct interviews and capture content through press conferences, roundtable sessions, broadcast interviews, photo shoots, sport demonstrations and lifestyle segments.

The Media Summit will begin with select interviews Sunday, March 15, along with an opening reception that evening. The first full day of interviews will begin Monday, March 16, and the event will conclude on the afternoon of Wednesday, March 18.

The USOPC has hosted the Team USA Media Summit prior to each Games since 1988, making next year the 18th edition of the event. Previous host cities have included Atlanta, Chicago, Colorado Springs, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Park City, and Salt Lake City.

Additional details regarding event registration and hotel reservations will be announced in the coming months.
