Final 9 Sports Hosts the St. Patrick's Classic Pro Disc Golf Tournament

Final 9 sports brings exciting disc golf action at their 3 day March tournament. On the 14th, 15th, and 16th, top notch competitors will battle at Shady Oaks Course in Orangevale, CA. Placer Valley Tourism and Final 9 sports team up for an amazing championship disc golf tournament.

Final 9 Sports has been the hub of disc golf in the Placer County area for many years. With equipment stores and tournament, they provide a means for local athletes to enjoy their sport of choice. Each year in March they host back to back weekends of disc golf mania. The first weekend is the amateur division and the second weekend hosts the pro division. The appropriately named "St. Patrick's Classic" hosts a competition day on St. Patrick's Day where players hope for a bit of luck during their weekend of competition.

This tournament is always full prior to the start date due to its great competition, outstanding course, and nicely run schedules. This year the tournament has yet another draw as it is an official "Maple Hill Open" qualifier. For just $10 more, players can compete to qualify so they can compete at the Vibram Maple Hill Open (MHO). This prestigious tournament is July 3-6, 2014, in Leicester, MA on an amazing 18 hole course. What makes the St. Patrick's Classic even more unique is that it is the only MHO qualifier in California. This ensures that the best of the best will be out to play in the at Shady Oaks.
