The second race of the season for Sacramento Cyclocross is happening at Maidu Park in Placer Valley, in Roseville, on Sunday, October 11.
The epic course they have created is so challenging that last year only one rider was able to finish it. Cyclocross combines pavement, wooded trails, grass, steep hills and obstacles requiring the cyclist to quickly dismount, carry the bike while navigating the obstructions and then remount.
Endurance and adrenaline junkies will be in paradise. The first race starts at 9:30 a.m. and the last one will begin at 2:30 p.m.
Spectators and riders can enjoy food from Miz Shirley Marie's Food Truck and craft beer from Yolo Brewing Company in the beer garden as well as all the outdoor amenities Maidu Park provides.
