Medieval times are resurrected when the Battle of the Roses III returns on Saturday, Feb. 16 to @the Grounds in Roseville. Come see real knights in real armor engaging in real fights at this amazing Armored Combat League (ACL) event! Placer Valley Tourism is thrilled to be teaming up again with the ACL's local chapter, the Pacific Grizzlies, for another action-filled, battle-fueled day.

Knighted men and women fighters from across the country will arrive eager to enter the ring for single duals, team melees and all versus all formats. In fact, fighters from the brand new History Channel television show Knight Fight will be featured at the Battle of the Roses!

Erik Saari, who serves as the ACL's Pacific Region Commander, explained that in order to understand how real these battles are you must see it live, "Combat in full armor with steel weapons is something you will never forget and will want to see again and again."

"The Armored combat League is where MMA meets Medieval Knights,'' added Saari.

"It's epic, it's historical, it's something most people never get to see and it's a whole lot of fun for everyone!"

Food trucks will be on-site and photo opportunities with the knights will be available so bring the whole family! Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door. Prices are $10 for general admission, children ages 5 to 11, seniors, police, fire and military are only $5 and wounded warriors are free!  Doors open at noon on Saturday, Feb. 16. with the action taking place in Barn 2 @the Grounds located at 800 All America City Blvd. in Roseville.
