Immortals Gaming Club and the Southern California Toyota Dealers have renewed their partnership to deliver the IMT University Fall Showdown Presented by @ToyotaSoCal featuring League of Legends. The two organizations first partnered on the IMT University Showdown presented by @ToyotaSoCal last May.

The IMT University Fall Showdown Presented by @ToyotaSoCal will take place over the course of two weekends which start on Nov. 7 and Nov. 14. This event will increase the number of teams from the previous event, this time having 12 compared to eight. The schools that have agreed to participate are UCLA (Los Angeles), UCI (Irvine), UCR (Riverside), APU (Azusa Pacific University), USC, Pepperdine, Moorpark College, LMU, CSUF (Fullerton), CSULB (Long Beach), CSUN (Northridge), and CSUDH (Dominguez Hills). Along with those 12 schools, the Immortals League of Legends Championship Series professional esports roster will also participate. They will be competing with individuals from some of the schools in an ARAM 2 v 2 exhibition tournament. The 2-day event will also be hosted by some of the best community talent including Matt “Cubbyxx” Samuelson and David “Simo” Rabinovitch.

The previous event which took place on May 22, 2020 was a first of its kind Southern California collegiate League of Legends tournament broadcast on Immortals’ Twitch channel. Immortals’ professional League of Legends players teamed up with eight different Southern California Colleges and competed for donations towards each schools’ esports program. Fans and viewers submitted brackets for who they thought would win each match and the fan with the most accurate bracket won a brand-new Toyota.
