The Savannah Bananas are bringing their world-famous “Banana Ball” back to Angel Stadium for a two-night stop on March 27-28, and Visit Anaheim, the official destination marketing organization for Anaheim, is inviting fans to join the fun with a citywide scavenger hunt known as the “Bananaheim Challenge.”
Running March 26–29, the free interactive challenge encourages locals and visitors alike to explore the destination while celebrating the Bananas’ return to Orange County. Participants can sign up for the challenge at visitanaheim.org/bananas and begin their adventure across 22 participating businesses in Anaheim and Garden Grove.
To participate, simply sign up online, then start visiting participating locations. Look for the “Bananaheim Challenge” floor decal or poster and scan the QR code to check in and earn points. Each scan adds to a participant’s total, bringing them closer to redeeming prizes.
Players can win stickers, Savannah Bananas merchandise, gift cards to local businesses, and one lucky fan who completes the challenge first will win the ultimate “Bananaheim” grand prize including Disneyland® Resort tickets, gift cards to local businesses and Savannah Bananas merchandise.
“The Savannah Bananas bring an incredible level of energy and excitement wherever they go, and we’re thrilled to celebrate their return to Anaheim,” said Scott Oklin, Chief Marketing Officer, Visit Anaheim. “The ‘Bananaheim Challenge’ is a fun way for fans to explore the city, discover local favorites, and be part of the celebration beyond the ballpark.”
Known for their high-energy performances and fan-first entertainment style, the Savannah Bananas have become a nationwide sensation with their unique take on baseball known as Banana Ball. During their Anaheim stop, the excitement will extend beyond Angel Stadium as fans visit local businesses and compete in the “Bananaheim Challenge.”
