The 2020 USABA Marathon National Championships presented by Allworth Financial, is planning on being held once again in conjunction with the California International Marathon in Sacramento.
The CIM is planning for a December 6 race date and the leadership is busy working on developing various options to make the CIM possible as long as health conditions provide a pathway for mass gathering events to take place. It is highly likely that modifications will be made to the entire race experience to reduce crowding as much as possible, including at the race start and finish.
As of early June, 24 B/VI marathoners had registered for the CIM and race director Richard Hunter is committing to funding an additional 16 eligible B/VI runners with $500 post-race reimbursement slots. The CIM has a no-worry registration policy, so if the CIM is canceled, you will be able to roll your registration to 2021, 2022 or 2023.
