The American Fishing Tackle Company (AFTCO) Collegiate Bass Open, "The Open," as it has been known for many years, is one of the longest tenured events on the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series.
It has been fished in both the spring and summer, but 2018 marked the first year that the tournament was fished in the fall of the year.
Set to take place on Lake Dardanelle in Arkansas from October 26-27, 2019, the AFTCO Collegiate Bass Open will be the second ACA event of the season that will count towards the 2019-2020 Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia.
