Tuscaloosa to Host Disc Golf Tournament

Tuscaloosa Tourism and Sports Commission have announced the scheduling of the Tuscaloosa Classic Disc Golf Singles Tournament. The tournament will be held on Saturday and Sunday, April 13-14, 2013 at Bowers Park in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

The field is limited to first 144 players, and the first three (3) PDGA players rated 1020+ registered will receive a full refund of their tournament fees at check-in on Saturday. The players’ schedule is as follows:

Saturday, April 13th, 2013 Bower’s Park Disc Golf Course
7:45 a.m.—8:45 a.m. Registration (same day based on availability)
8:43 a.m.-9:15 a.m. Players Meeting (First Round 9:30 a.m.)
1:30 p.m. Second Round Start

Sunday, April 14th, 2013
8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. Players Meeting (Third round starts 9:30 a.m.)

Payout:
Pro: 40% Field Payout. 100% Payout All Pro Divisions.
Open Men Minimum Cash Added Purse ($1,500)
Amateur Payout Sponsored by HALO Sport.

This is a B-tier PDGA sanctioned singles tournament

Friday, April 12, 2013, 4 p.m.-6 p.m. at Bowers Park
PDGA Pro Clinic - Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Where: Bower's Park Disc Golf Course
When: 4 p.m.-5 p.m., Clinic
5 p.m.-6:30 p.m., Doubles
