The Mobile Sports Authority has shared its fall line-up of events.

The 2nd Annual Gulf Coast Challenge in Ladd-Peebles Stadium on September 28 follows the success of the 2018 football game pitting teams from two Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU’s). The 2019 game will feature the Alabama A&M University Bulldogs hosting the Central State University Marauders in a Southwest Athletic Conference vs. Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association showdown. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 PM. This will be the seventh time Alabama A&M and Central State University, based in Wilberforce, Ohio have played with Alabama A&M holding a 3-2-1 record.

Tailgating is slated to begin the morning of game day leading up to the 6 PM kickoff. But, don't hang out in the parking lot for too long or you will miss the much-anticipated halftime show. The AAMU Marching Maroon and White, the CSU Invincible Marching Marauders, and the Talladega College Marching Tornadoes will show out in one Ultimate HBCU Experience.

The game will be preceded by a week of festivities that include a Kickoff Party in Cathedral Square, College and Career Fair for high school seniors, Pep Rally, and the GCC Parade. Additionally, there will be events for alumni and dignitaries.
