The Tuscaloosa Tourism & Sports Commission welcomed all visiting teams, noting, “On behalf of our entire community, we congratulate and welcome you to Tuscaloosa. We are proud to host these championships, and it is with open arms that we invite you to “Meet Tuscaloosa” and explore our many shops, restaurants, museums, and hotels. We are especially pleased to offer you an opportunity to enjoy Holidays on the River, where you can ice skate on an 100’ x 60’ outdoor rink; complete with a 14’ high, 120’ long ice slide. Afterwards, take a stroll along the riverwalk to see the holiday decoration (holidaysontheriver.com). A special thank you goes to AHSAA, our wonderful volunteers, partners, and sponsors who have made this experience possible.”
