9th Running Industry Conference
25 Oct, 2011
The Running USA Conference Committee has been hard at work planning what is aimed to be our biggest and best conference to date! We are just 3 months away from this amazing event. From our popular General Session "Speed Networking" to Peer to Peer Round Tables, this is the premier, must attend industry event. Below is a brief snip-it of a few things we have in store for the 2012 event.
Exciting news! Kevin Carroll, founder of Katalyst/LLC and expert on advancing sports and play as a vehicle for social change, will be the keynote speaker for Running USA 2012: The Industry Conference on January 15-17. You will be inspired to determine "What Moves You?"
The theme for this year's event is "Passing the Torch: Running Toward the Future," and Kevin's Youth Assembly, sponsored by Hershey's Track and Field, at the conference will highlight this theme. Approximately 200 Houston-area athletes will be on hand for a Youth Assembly led by Kevin, a separate event from his keynote address. Their passion and input will help us all become better informed about the future of our sport. Stay tuned for a special celebrity surprise during the Assembly session.
The Hyatt Regency Houston is the host hotel for Running USA 2012. Situated in the center of downtown Houston's business and entertainment districts and 1 mile from the Trials and Houston Marathon Start/Finish, this is the ideal location for our exciting event. Book your room as soon as possible.
