SDM Blitz Named Regional Finalist in Azbee Awards of Excellence

Sports Destination Management, the leading publication with the largest circulation of sports event planners and tournament directors in the sports tourism market, is proud to announce its bi-weekly e-newsletter, the SDM Blitz, has been named a regional finalist in the 2020 Azbee Awards of Excellence program.

The awards program, produced annually by the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE), recognizes excellence in business-to-business media, recognizing outstanding work by B2B, trade, association and professional publications.

One of the most competitive award programs for trade media, the Azbees highlight editorial, online and design excellence within magazines, newsletters and digital media.

The competition required two issues of the SDM Blitz, as selected by its editorial team. The two issues chosen were as follows:

Azbee Awards are given both regionally and nationally in the Print, Online, and Design divisions. The level of regional winners — gold, silver or bronze — will be announced at regional banquets across the United States starting in April. National gold, silver and bronze winners and the Overall Excellence winners will be announced at the National Azbee Awards of Excellence banquet, held in conjunction with the 2020 ASBPE National Conference in Chicago on May 5-6, 2020.
