The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has opened the bid process to host the 2021 and 2022 NAIA Softball National Championship.

The softball national championship is a seven day, double elimination tournament that consists of 10 teams. The NAIA is looking for a singular championship facility to host the event. The ideal facility would have seating for between 750 and 1,000 fans with some reserved seating

Beyond the economic impact to the community, the NAIA gives its hosts significant opportunities to realize a return on the investment. The NAIA model transfers all revenue rights (ticket sales, sponsorship, rebates, etc.) to the winning bidder.

Below are some of the key benefits in hosting the NAIA Softball Championship

  • Hotel room block: 150.
  • Average length of stay: Five to seven nights.
  • Total participants: 250.
  • Total fans and staff: Upwards of 700 depending on local area marketing and team fan travel.

The deadline for bids to become a host for the 2021 and 2022 NAIA Softball National Championship is November 1, 2019.
