Nathan Sports, Merrell and Trail Sisters are sponsoring a ‘Run Around the World’ Virtual Challenge. The three outdoor and trail running companies are challenging individuals to join a collective 24,901 mile journey around the globe.
Runners can register online with Trail Sisters and then submit mileage after registration. ‘Every distance counts, whether it’s 10K trail run or walking circles around your kitchen.’
Every registered participant will be entered into a prize draw to win over US$2,500 of gear from Nathan Sports and Merrell, distributed over various milestones as the challenge makes progress towards the 25K goal.
There is a one-time US$5 suggested donation to participate (although participants can donate any amount of their choice). Proceeds will go to the CDC Foundation’s COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund.
