Olympic Day, held annually on June 23, is celebrated by millions of people in more than 160 countries. Commemorating the birth of the modern Olympic Games, Olympic Day’s mission is to promote fitness, well-being, culture and education.

In 2015, 1,820 Olympic Day celebrations were hosted in 1,297 communities to share the three Olympic Day pillars of move, learn and discover! To view the full Olympic Day 2015 Highlight Report, please click HERE

Does your organization have an event in the month of June? Events range from a large event in your city to a YMCA camp to a club hosting a tournament. Events can be associated with a pre-existing event or a standalone celebration. Click to see more event ideas.

We encourage you to register to host an Olympic Day 2016 celebration! Olympic Day falls on June 23rd, but organizations may host an event at any time during the month of June. Starting in January 2016, Olympians and Paralympians will be notified of events within their areas for possible* attendance at your event. There is no cost to register for Olympic Day.
