Betway has expanded its presence in professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) with a sponsorship deal with DreamHack. The agreement, for which financial terms were not disclosed, covers the DreamHack Masters Spring tournament, which began today.

The Masters competition is, this year, playing out as a four region online-only tournament, due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Among the competitors are two esports team organizations also sponsored by Betway: Brazil’s MiBR, Sweden’s Ninjas in Pyjamas, and Germany’s BIG

Betway has supported a number of CS:GO events for ESL. With most professional sporting competitions suspended due to COVID-19, esports has become a prime offering for several bookmakers, with the Nevada Gaming Control Board having authorized wagers on several CS:GO tournaments, including DreamHack Masters Spring.
