The 16th Annual Mayhem Men's Softball Tournament will be held at Cinder City Park in Altoona on May 20-22.  The slow-pitch softball tournament, including both an Upper Gold Division and a Lower Bronze Division, will help determine the best in the Midwest.

In the Gold Division, the best teams and some of the most talented players in the Midwest battle it out against other Class B and C teams.  In the Bronze Division, local league teams and teams with evenly-matched skill levels compete for the chance for the Lower Bronze Division Title.  The tournament motto is, “In order to be the best, you have to beat the best.”  With some of the best teams in the Midwest traveling to play in this tournament, each team is playing against elite competition.

Action is slated to begin Friday evening and run through Sunday afternoon.  The Mayhem Men’s Softball Tournament is expected to attract approximately 24 teams and has an estimated economic impact of $43,200 for the community.
