USA Table Tennis is thrilled to announce four high caliber table tennis events set to take place at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas, from January 12 to 21, 2024. The event lineup includes the US World Championships Adult Team Trials (Jan. 12-14), International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Para US Open and finally the 2024 ITTF Pan Am Cup (Jan. 19-21).

Kicking off this exciting series of events is the US World Championship Adult Team Trials, scheduled from January 12 to 14. This event will determine the US team that will represent the nation in Busan, Korea, with the opportunity to secure a direct qualification spot for Team USA at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

From January 16 to 18, Texas will once again be the stage for the ITTF Para US Open. Building on the success of the 2023 event held at the Fort Worth Convention Center, USATT is committed to delivering another outstanding Para table tennis experience. Paralympic Medalists Jenson Van Emburgh, Tahl Leibovitz, and Ian Seidenfeld are geared up to deliver stellar performances, aiming to retain their titles on home soil.

Jasna Rather, USATT Para Program Director, expressed her enthusiasm, saying, "This event is a fantastic opportunity for para players in the United States, especially our emerging young talents in need of international experience. We're excited to host the ITTF Para US Open in Texas once again, following the success of the 2023 event, and we're committed to delivering a world-class para table tennis experience.”

The grand finale of this series of events will be the 2024 ITTF PanAm Cup, which serves as a qualifier for the World Cup. The tournament will feature the top 16 players in the PanAm region. In the women's category, the USA's Amy Wang and Lily Zhang are determined to continue their ascent and strive to keep the women's title within the United States. On the men's side, Sid Naresh and Jishan Liang, both with remarkable recent performances in international competitions, will proudly represent the US flag.

Virginia Sung, CEO of USATT, stated, "I am thrilled to welcome these prestigious table tennis events to US, and extend a warm invitation to the entire USATT community to join us in supporting our nation's talented athletes in Corpus Christi, TX. These events will showcase the incredible talent and dedication of our players, and I am grateful for the partnership with the Corpus Christi Sports Commission that has helped us to make it all possible."
