From July 31 – August 2, 2014, Willamalane Center for Sports and Recreation (Springfield), Oregon, will host the Pacific Northwest Masters Basketball Tournament.

The PacNWMBB s the first premier competitive Masters Hoops tournament on the West Coast, with brackets for players ages 50 – 70+. Registration is open until July 15 for teams or individuals, who can sign up to be a “free agent” and be placed on a team.

The tournament will be the first event of the Lifetime Fitness Project, a non-profit organization that intends to promote youth sports, clinics, and scholarships, as well as support older athletes that are still competing. It’s a perfect way to have fun and support a great organization at the same time.

Along with a full weekend of basketball games, the PacNWMBB has other social events planned throughout the duration of the tournament. Participants can tour Ninkasi Brewing Company in Eugene’s historic Whiteaker neighborhood, and enjoy a night of pub games and a delicious local food on the University of Oregon campus.
