College Rugby Comes to Greenville This Weekend

USA Rugby is teaming up with the Greenville-Pitt County Sports Commission to host the 2019 USA Rugby Fall College Playoffs this weekend, November 23-24th.

This tournament will be held at East Carolina University’s North Recreation Complex, bringing in teams from colleges across the country. Teams from NC State, Virginia Tech, Saint Joseph’s, University of Tennessee, Kennesaw State, Bowling Green, Western Michigan, and Iowa Central Community College will all be participating.

Tournament play will be between 11am and 3pm on both Saturday, November 23^rd and Sunday, November 24^th.

This tournament helps continue the strong and lasting relationship between USA Rugby and the Greenville-Pitt County Sports Commission. “Rugby is a fast-paced sport, and is extremely entertaining to watch,” said Gray Williams, Executive Director of the Greenville-Pitt County Sports Commission. “We are excited to continue to host regional USA Rugby tournaments in Greenville and Pitt County, and hope that the community can come out and enjoy a game!”
