What does Jacksonville-Onslow Sports Commission have coming up? A lot! Check it out!

Basketball: East Coast Invitational Team Camp, June 23-25, 2023, at the Commons Recreation Complex. The East Coast Invitational Team Camp (ECIT) promises to be bigger and better in 2023...the camp moved up in the summer basketball circuit a couple of years ago and, by doing so, allowed the ECIT to feature MORE of North Carolina's TOP high school basketball talent...student/athletes that are being recruited by colleges in all the major conferences through the United States.

The ECIT is brought to you by Jones-Onslow EMC, Touchstone Energy, Bob Mills Mitsubishi, the Jacksonville-Onslow Sports Commission,  Carolina Orthopedics, and the City of Jacksonville. The best of the best come together for one of the most prestigious high school basketball team camps in the southeast. Admission for the event is $10 per day or $30 for a tournament pass. Information is here.

Chess: The Coastal Carolina Open moves in from August 4-6 at Jacksonville Station. This US Chess-Sanctioned event is open to all ages. Registration information can be found here.

Boxing: Marine Chevy Freedom Fight is held August 18 at the Commons Recreation Complex. Freedom Fight is in conjunction with the All-Marine Boxing Alumni and is sanctioned by USA Boxing, Inc.

Once again, boxers from outside North Carolina will be competing against local talent. It will be another exciting night that you won’t want to miss. Information is here.
