The American Junior Golf Association will head to the Original Course at Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City, Md., for the first time as 144 of the nation's top junior golfers compete in the JoS. A. Bank / David Leadbetter Championship, August 19-22.
The tournament practice round will be held Monday, August 19. Following the tournament practice round, David Leadbetter, legendary golf instructor and coach, will host a clinic for tournament players and parents. Media is welcome to attend to cover the event.
Tournament rounds will be played Tuesday, August 20, through Thursday, August 22. Tee times will run from 7:30 - 9:20 a.m. for the first wave of the first and second rounds and from 12:30 - 2:20 p.m. for the second wave of the first and second rounds off the Nos. 1 and 10 tees at Turf Valley Resort. Following the second round, the field will be cut to the top 50 percent and ties. Final round tee times will run from 7:30 - 9:50 a.m. off the Nos. 1 and 10 tees.
