The Kankakee County Convention & Visitors Bureau has announced that the NIAA Kankakee River Fishing Derby will be held June 27-July 6.

The event will include fishing for walleye, smallmouth, northern, largemouth, crappie, channel catfish, rock bass or roughfish. Minimum weights apply for different species.

Starting time on June 27 is 1am and closing time on July 6 is 6pm Look for the Kankakee County CVB Fish "Ka-Ching" and win big money! We do a daily catch of the day, run a big board for three places in multiple species and have over 100 tagged fish worth $500 or more.
