Organizers have announced the 95th running of The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, sponsored by Gran Turismo, on Sunday, June 25. Advance tickets are now available.

You can purchase those coveted tickets online for the 2017 Race To The Clouds beginning Thursday, December 1st.  Plan now to purchase your tickets to watch the world's most prestigious hill climb and nation's second-oldest motorsports event, behind only the famed Indianapolis 500.

Following a positive experience of presenting a limited field during the 2016 race, the PPIHC will once again limit the number of invited entries to approximately 100 autos and motorcycles for the 2017 race on America's Mountain. The list of entrants will be announced on February 20.

Last year's 100th Anniversary race produced some of the fastest times in the history of the race. The most notable an 8:51.445 winning time in the Unlimited Division by French Driver Romain Dumas in a 2016 Norma M20 PP100, and an 8:57.118 first place finish by the veteran Rhys Millen in the Electric Modified Class.

In addition, Stephanie Reaves set a new standard for women, becoming the fastest woman on the course in history. Reaves placed 3rd in the Time Attack 2 Production Class with a time of 10:56.876, driving her 2016 Dodge Viper ACR to the 29th fastest overall time in the race.

For a century, the world's most punishing motorsport hill climb has attracted bold competitors who have made it to the summit at 14,115 feet to triumph on the Peak, including the greats of American motorsport, Mario Andretti, Parnelli Jones, Roger Mears, Al Unser, Al Unser, Jr., Louis Unser, Bobby Unser, Rick Mears and scores of others, including generations of racing families with names like Dallenbach, Millen, Donner, and Vahsholtz.

In recent years, as the popularity and profile of the race spread around the globe, fans have seen a whole new family of international winners emerge, like Japan's Nobuhiro Tajima, the first driver to break the elusive 10-minute mark in 2011, New Zealanders Rod and Rhys Millen, Finland's Ari Vatanen, Sweden's Per Eklund, Romain Dumas of France, and Sébastien Loeb of France, who stunned the world with his Pikes Peak course record of 8:13.878 in 2013 in his specially designed Peugeot 208 TT16 Pikes Peak auto.

As always, fans will be able to enjoy the time-honored, traditional Fan Fest celebrating the Race to the Clouds on Friday, June 23, from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in Downtown Colorado Springs. The popular event, which annually attracts more than 30,000 spectators gives everyone of all ages the chance to see their favorite competitors, autos and motorcycles as they prepare to take on America's Mountain. Entertainment includes motorcycle exhibitions, vendor booths, Beer Garden, Fire Fighter Chili Cook-off and much more to be announced.
