U.S. Open Water Ski Racing National Championships Coming to Arizona

The 14th annual U.S. Open Water Ski Racing National Championships will be held Sept. 29-30 at Havasu Springs in Parker, Ariz. The athletes will draw for pole positions, make a deep-water start at the drop of a green flag and race in lanes for a designated number of laps.

Athletes will compete for titles in 22 divisions and classes. Overall placements are determined by total number of points. In the event of a tie, total race time will break the tie. For more information and to register, visit www.nwsra.net

U.S. water ski racing athletes interested in qualifying for the 2019 Water Ski Racing World Championships, to be held in September 2019 in Vichy, France, should note that the Parker Enduro marathons on Oct. 27 in Parker, Ariz., will begin the qualification period.
