Calgary, Lake Placid Hosting Bobsled and Skeleton Action

The 2014-2015 bobsled and skeleton season is in full swing.  Athletes racing on the Intercontinental Cup and North American Cup tours will race on the 1988 Olympic track in Calgary, Canada from Jan. 24-25, while bobsled North American Cup athletes will compete in Lake Placid, N.Y. from Jan. 22-23.

The North American Cup bobsled race schedule in Lake Placid is as follows, with all times listed in local time:

Thursday, Jan. 22:
9 a.m.: Women's bobsled and two-man bobsled race #1

Friday, Jan. 23:
9 a.m.: Women's bobsled and two-man bobsled race #2

The Intercontinental Cup and North American Cup skeleton competitors will also race twice in Calgary over two days. The competition schedule is as follows, with all times listed in local time:


Saturday, Jan. 24:
9 a.m.: Women's and men's skeleton race #1

Sunday, Jan. 25:
9 a.m.: Women's and men's skeleton race #2
