The Ocean Center sales team has announced the signing of multi-year contract with a popular youth volleyball competition. The successful contract means the competition will return to the convention center in Daytona Beach for three straight years.
Team Connection Daytona Beach 100 Volleyball Tournament will bring its event to the Ocean Center each year from 2016 – 2018. The Daytona Beach 100 is a two-day junior girls' volleyball tournament for ages 8 - 18. The USA Volleyball junior boys' Florida Fest Bid Tournament will be in the Ocean Center exhibit hall and arena on the same days. The events are open to the public.
Ocean Center will also host other youth and young adult sports events, including the East Coast Cheer (October 13), Varsity Spirit State Cheer and Dance Competition (January 15-19, 2015) and Stars & Stripes Trampoline and Tumbling (Aug. 30 - Sept.1, 2013.
