Elite volleyball tournament to be held at Raleigh Convention Center

More than 96 elite Junior Olympic girls volleyball teams from throughout the eastern U.S. will compete at the Raleigh Convention Center on February 6 & 7. The Mid-Atlantic Power League Tournament, hosted by the Triangle Volleyball Club, will be played on 20 regulation courts assembled in the exhibit hall. Nearly 1,500 student-athletes, coaches, parents, spectators, and college recruiters will be in attendance, and the event is expected to generate 1,100 total hotel room nights and $340,000 in direct visitor spending. The Greater Raleigh CVB is a host partner of the event.
