Beginning May 1, 2014, Try Tennis Free will be promoted by tennis facilities and certified teaching pros around the U.S. The industry will begin offering this promotion to beginning and returning tennis players to try tennis for free at their facility. This promotion is a joint effort between the Tennis Industry Association, PTR, and the USPTA's Tennis Across America. Industry research shows that 65% of players who begin tennis in an introductory program continue with the sport. Getting consumers “hooked” on tennis by “trying” it is half the battle.
