International Senior Softball Association (ISSA) has updated all information for tournaments in 2014. All information is found on the website.

THE ISSA CAROLINA TRAIL SERIES - The 3rd Annual ISSA Myrtle Beach NIT will kick off the 2014 Season on March 19-23. The 70s, 75s and 80s will play at Market Commons on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and the others will play on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Managers for teams beginning play on Wednesday will report to the Grand Park Complex one hour prior to their first game for information and instructions from the tournament staff. Managers for the other teams will check-in with the tournament staff at 7:00 pm on Thursday night at the Host Hotel, Sand Dunes Resort and a player reception will take place at the Sand Dunes starting at 7:00pm Thursday as well. The popularity of the world-class beach resort for a senior softball tournament continues to grow.

The tournament is the first of the ISSA Carolina Trail Series of tournaments held in early Spring.  The next event will be the Burlington NIT on April 11-13. Burlington has a rich history of supporting senior softball tournaments and is the site of the North Carolina Softball Hall of Fame Building at City Park. The dedicated and experienced staff at the complexes offer the teams a quality event.  Information for the Host Hotel, venue addresses and other participant info can be found on the Fact Sheet on the ISSA Website.

In 2014 the ISSA Spring National will be held in the Charlotte, NC suburbs in the Lake Norman area. This is an exciting new opportunity for the senior players and their families to explore a new area and while there play softball on some excellent softball fields. The park staff at Huntersville are enthusiastic about the opportunity to show the players their facilities and serve as a great host for a National Tournament.  The Nationals will take place on the May 2-4 weekend in this "softball haven." Teams should sign up early as there is field space reserved at Bradford Park and Nevin Park for only 50 teams.  If more fields are needed for this first year event let the ISSA know now. Teams that play in all three tournaments in the Carolina Trail Series will receive a $200 discount off the entry fee for the ISF Senior World Cup in June.
