25 Jul, 2016
US Youth Soccer announced the Fall 2016 schedule for the highly successful Kohl's US Youth Soccer American Cup. The largest recreational soccer tournament in the nation will be held in 22 locations in the Spring.
The Fall 2016 Kohl's American Cup national tour will kick off August 5 in Snohomish, Wash., before finishing up the schedule in Fayetteville, Ga., November 12-13. Those interested in participating should contact their US Youth Soccer State Association.
"We are happy to announce the Fall schedule for the popular US Youth Soccer Kohl’s American Cup that focuses on the many benefits of soccer, specifically fun and teamwork in a truly unique environment,” said Todd Roby, director of marketing and communications of US Youth Soccer.
All events will feature Kohl's American Cup elements (tents, banners, premium items) and the Kohl's American Cup Soccer Experience, which comes with three ‘larger-than-life’ inflatable soccer games. A welcome arch is also ready to welcome the more than 165,000 spectators and participants expected this year. There will also be numerous prizes and souvenirs for participants and their families.
It is the Kohl's American Cup philosophy that all players should receive equal opportunities and benefits within their level of play. All players have the right to participate in competitions where they can develop and exhibit their skills while enjoying themselves. Kohl's American Cup provides recreational players this unforgettable opportunity and places emphasis on participation, as opposed to competition.
