11 Feb, 2020
ZOOMA Women’s Race Series, known for their stunning race medals and fun races in beautiful places, just announced their newest, and first international, destination.
ZOOMA Bermuda Half Marathon will take place over President’s Day Weekend from February 15-16, 2020.
In partnership with the Bermuda Tourism Authority, ZOOMA has arranged for the ultimate active girls weekend getaway. Weekend activities will include an Expo, oceanfront yoga sessions, group excursions and celebrations throughout the weekend.
Weekend races include a Half Marathon, 10K, 2 Mile Lighthouse Run and the Bermuda Challenge and runners will have a chance to see why Bermuda has been recognized as “Best Island in the Atlantic & Caribbean” by Condé Nast Traveler.
The race courses will showcase the best of Bermuda with the Lighthouse Run starting at Gibb’s Lighthouse and ending along the pink sand beaches near Horseshoe Bay. The Half Marathon and 10K will start in historic Hamilton along front street and end with an epic, oceanfront party for all runners.
“ZOOMA races are designed to be empowering and inspiring race experiences,” said Sarah Ratzlaff, owner and Chief Inspiration Officer of ZOOMA. “We simply can’t imagine a better place to host one of our signature weekends than in Bermuda. The Bermuda island culture is so welcoming and the sandy beaches and ocean views are the perfect backdrop for a race weekend.”
Registration for the 2020 ZOOMA Bermuda Half Marathon is now open at www.zoomarun.com

About Bermuda: Out here is closer than you think. Located in the Atlantic Ocean off North Carolina’s coast, the island of Bermuda is just a two-hour nonstop flight from most eastern U.S. airports. Attracting adventure seekers, explorers, romantic and originals, Bermuda is where people, cultures and an alluring mystique swirl together, connecting visitors to a place far from everyday life. The island’s legendary pink-sand beaches, frozen in time historic towns and pastel-colored buildings stand out at first. But it’s Bermuda’s original, ever evolving take on island life that brings travelers out here again and again. The Bermuda experience is elegant, relaxed and genuinely warm, celebrating cultures, reveling in nature and staying open to whatever is around the bend. Recently, the 35th America’s Cup, held in Bermuda May and June of 2017, brought a fresh energy to the destination with new and redeveloped hotels, must-visit attractions and restaurants adding to the island spirit.
