The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has opened the bid process to host the 2021 and 2022 NAIA Competitive Cheer and Dance National Championships.

The Competitive Cheer and Dance National Championship consists of 12 cheer squads and 12 dance teams that compete in both a preliminary and final round over the course of two days.

Beyond the economic impact to the community, the NAIA gives its hosts significant opportunities to realize a return on the investment. The NAIA model transfers all revenue rights (ticket sales, sponsorship, rebates, etc.) to the winning bidder.

Below are some of the key benefits in hosting the NAIA Competitive Cheer and Dance Championship

  • Hotel room block: 250.
  • Average length of stay: Two nights
  • Total participants: Approximately 450.
  • Total fans and staff: Upwards of 1,200 depending on local area marketing and team fan travel.

The deadline for bids to become a host for the 2021 and 2022 NAIA Competitive Cheer and Dance National Championship is June 1, 2019.
