Bid for NAIA Bowling National Championships Now Available; Deadline is June 1, 2019

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has opened the bid process to host both the 2020 and 2021 NAIA Men’s and Women’s Bowling National Championships.

The men’s and women’s bowling national championships are hosted alongside one another at the same site. It consists of between 200 - 250 student-athletes and three full days of bowling. The desired facility has both capabilities to host a tournament on a large scale and have at minimum 32 lanes available for use.

Beyond the economic impact to the community, the NAIA gives its hosts significant opportunities to realize a return on the investment. The NAIA model transfers all revenue rights (ticket sales, sponsorship, rebates, etc.) to the winning bidder.

Below are some of the key benefits in hosting the NAIA Men’s and Women’s Bowling National Championships.

  • Hotel room block: 240-250
  • Average length of stay: 3-4 nights
  • Total participants: 200-250
  • Total fans and staff: 500 - 1,000 approximately

The deadline for bids to become a host for the 2020-2021 NAIA Men’s and Women’s Bowling National Championship is June 1, 2019.
