AAU Boys Basketball World Championships Share Details of Events

The AAU World Championships, formerly AAU National Championships, are now open to teams around the world and will be hosted at sites nationwide.

  • Commited teams from Australia, Puerto Rico, Canada, Bahamas and more.
  • ?Up to three skill levels offered (Division I, Division II, Division III).
  • On average, over 28 U.S. states represented per location/event. 
  • ?Play in your District Qualifier to receive a discount and seeding priority (boys basketball teams are not required to participate in DQ to qualify for AAU World Championships, but it is strongly recommended).
  • Place in Top 16 at the AAU World Championships to gain top seeding the following year.
  • ?Top 10 teams in each division win awards/medals. All teams receive free t-shirts and a bag.
  • All competition locations offer discounted hotel rates.
  • ?New mobile app with schedules and results updated hourly.
  • ?Live-streamed coverage accessible for friends, family, collegiate coaches, etc. The AAU has partnered with FloHoops to provide live coverage of over 1,500 World Championship and Super Showcase games, archived video, and more exclusive content from basketball's globally recognized teams and athletes.
