Denise Stokes

Denise Stokes has built a personal brand in which she is known for keeping the lines of communication open and quickly being able to adapt and connect with people. Stokes is building a department from the ground up as the new PR/Communications Manager with the Frisco, Texas Convention & Visitors Bureau. She cultivates and acts as a resource to create story ideas with local, regional, and national press to gain positive exposure for Frisco as a leisure travel, meetings, sporting events, conference, and tradeshow destination. As a former radio personality and television news writer with various companies in the entertainment industry, she brings finesse to the areas of media relations and fostering relationships over time. Stokes is an active member of the Public Relations Society of America, the International Association of Business Communicators, the DFW Area Tourism Council and presently completing an Executive MBA at Texas Woman's University.
