For over two decades, USA Bobsled/Skeleton (USABS) has entrusted JRC Transportation, Inc., a visionary carrier headquartered in Connecticut with 30 offices across the United States, to ship its sleds and related equipment all over North America. USABS is excited to announce that JRC Transportation has formalized an agreement to support the team through June 2026.

“JRC Transportation has been there for us anytime, day or night,” said USABS National Team General Manager Lenny Kasten. “For 22 years they have provided us with timely and professional service despite the intricacies of moving literally tons of equipment. We’re very happy to continue working with the JRC family for another five years, and hopefully many more.”

Bobsled and skeleton sleds are packed in crates with other necessary equipment like weights, tools, and uniforms, and the crates are moved around North America on trucks. Those crates are packed and unpacked at each stop on tour.

“JRC’s owner, Ray Capppella, who ensure that his company can provide this invaluable service to USABS, shared that he is a lifelong fan and has great respect for the athletes whose incredible power and speed continue to push the sport of bobsled and skeleton forward,” said JRC Vice President Ryan Pasquella. “At JRC, supporting USABS is a family affair, as employees across the country take great pride in contributing to the success of the team.”

The team most recently received a shipment from JRC last week in Lake Placid from Park City, Utah as athletes continue to compete in 2021-2022 National Team Trials.
