Owensboro Health and the Owensboro Convention Center (OCC) announced that they have entered an exclusive agreement, making Owensboro Health the “Official Health Sponsor” of the Owensboro Convention Center.
“This partnership creates a multitude of win/win opportunities. There is tremendous value for them in the convention center to expose their brand of quality health care to our visitors and the community at large,” shared Dean Dennis, general manager and vice president of Global Spectrum. “It provides a wonderful platform for the Owensboro Health to promote to their mission of a healthy community.”
The announcement was made by Mayor Ron Payne of the City of Owensboro; Dean Dennis, general manager of the Owensboro Convention Center and vice president of Global Spectrum; and Philip Patterson, president and CEO of Owensboro Health.
“This sponsorship is a natural fit between two of our town’s biggest economic drivers. It is great to see organizations in Owensboro working together to support a better way of life for our community,” said Mayor Ron Payne.
The three-year agreement provides Owensboro Health a variety of marketing benefits at OCC, including motivational wellness signage, stair graphics, escalator wraps, hospitality benefits and more.
“Thousands of people will walk through these doors each month. What better place to instill a message of importance of your health, or offer health screenings and educational programs?” asked Philip Patterson, president and CEO of Owensboro Health. “This is a fantastic opportunity for our organization to share our wellness message while being a part of the exciting development going on in downtown Owensboro.”
